Smiling Baby Pictures!!

Had to post with the cute pics I took of Maggie yesterday. Don't you just love that smile?? She does get sad too so I threw in some of her sad face although we are lucky and don't see it very often. She is doing great!! She is only getting up one time in the night and it is usually about 4 or 5 and she goes right back down so she is spoiling me already!! She has started drooling like crazy so that is the reason for the bib and no clothes because she is soaking everything. The doctor assured me that there were not any teeth in there yet so I hope he is right about that.

Julia had a great week in school. They were celebrating Earth week and had a nature walk yesterday. She has been have a great time playing outside every chance she gets. Wyatt is traveling this weekend but I think it is the last time for a while so it will be good to have him home for a while.

Maggie is 2 months old!!

Maggie had her 2 month appointment yesterday. She weighed 11 lbs and 14 oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. The doctor said that she looked great! The shots were not fun for me or her and she was pretty upset about them. I haven't told her that we have to get more in 2 months. Julia is having a blast playing outside now that the weather is better. Elizabeth came this past weekend for a quick visit and it was so much fun. She was able to hang with the girls and we shopped too! She is looking GREAT as you can see from her growing baby bump. Julia cannot wait to meet her new baby cousin in August!!

Spring is finally here!!

Well the weather is looking much better here in central Ohio and we are enjoying it. Julia has been asking me everyday if it is spring time yet?? Poor thing. They have been learning all about spring at preschool and she had been dying to get out and play. This weekend has been great and she had been taking advantage of it. Wyatt took her to Lowes to get some more sand for her sand box and they got a blueberry bush too!! Now if she just had the patience let them grow before she picks them. Maggie is doing great and putting up with our crazy schedule as best she can right now. She is a great eater and sleeper and at this point that is all we can ask for. Elizabeth comes on Thursday for a long weekend and we can't wait to see her and her baby bump. Maggie gets her 2 month shots and check up on April 15th. I will keep you all updated on our progress.

Happy Easter!!

We had a cold but sunny Easter in Ohio yesterday. The weather did not stop Julia from having a blast hunting eggs and eating jelly beans first thing in the morning. Maggie had fun watching all the excitement and she was good her first time at church. She slept the whole time.

Julia is on spring break this week so no school for her. I just wish the weather would turn so we could actually go and do some things to get out of the house. It is supposed to be a cool and wet week up here. I have attached some pictures of the girls all dressed up for church. Enjoy!!

Grandmama and Granddaddy's visit

Well Grandmama and Granddaddy finally got here for their spring break visit and we had a ball with them. Julia was soo pumped!! They came prepared for a winter blizzard and still made room for Julia's birthday loot. She got to open up a present everyday they were here and sometimes 2 or more since we have been getting some in the mail too. There is definitely not a shortage of toys or presents around here. Grandmama and Julia got to make the birthday cake they have been talking about for at least a month now. It was so much fun. G and G also got to spend some quality time with Maggie. Wyatt and I got out a few times and got to act like a normal married couple for a few hours and it was great. We were so glad that G and G got to come for a long visit and we cannot wait until they come back!!

Happy Birthday Julia!!

BLIZZARD 2008!!!
We were homebound all day yesterday due to the 15-20 inches of snow that hit central Ohio. We did venture out as far as the garage to let Julia play for about 15 min. Maggie opted out this time she said it was too cold. Grandmama and Granddaddy are due in late tonight YEAH!!! They were supposed to come yesterday but they bumped it back to avoid getting delayed at the airport. We are very excited to see them and introduce Maggie and celebrate Julia birthday too!! We are holding off our big celebration until tomorrow when they can be here. We hope to play later and attempt a snowman. It was just too windy and snowy yesterday to enjoy it. As you can see it is about knee deep on Wyatt and waist deep on Julia. Hopefully it will begin to melt today and we will not be stranded here for too much longer. Just wanted to update ya'll on how we are making it up here and wish Julia a Happy 3rd Birthday!! We love you and cannot believe how fast you are growing up!!

Maggie Weighs 8lbs and 10 oz!!!

Well Maggie had her big 2 week weigh in today and she is doing great!! The doc said that she should be gaining 3/4 to 1 oz a day and she is gaining 2 oz a day. She was last weighed 10 days ago at 7lbs and 5 oz so she is packing it on. Yeah!!! Julia had school so she missed this trip to the Dr but it was snowing and I don't know how I would have done it with both girls. Maggie then had her first grocery trip and it was so exciting she slept through the whole thing. We should be done with Dr visits until her 8 week shots in mid April. Julia still can't get enough of her she is constantly kissing and holding baby Maggie. It is so cute!!
