Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving came and went way too fast.

"Grandmamma and Granddaddy" (Wyatt's parents) came up for the first time to visit. We had a ball. Julia loves to jump on Granddaddy anytime his eyes close and he looks like he might be going to sleep. No naps while Julia is awake. She also kept Grandmamma VERY busy playing in the basement singing songs and outside on the swing set. I don't know who wore who out more....Julia is still asking for them when she wakes up.We went to the Columbus Zoo (really nice) and did the Zoo Lights display. Julia decorated and ate a Christmas cookie with Mrs. Clause. They also had a HUGE miniature train display set up that was really cool. I cooked a full on Thanksgiving feast for the first time and there were no major disasters so it went off pretty well.

We also went on Friday to cut our own Christmas tree at a local tree farm not far from our house. They had live animals (a donkey and a sheep) that Julia got to see. They provided us with a sled and a saw and sent us on our way to search for the perfect tree. It was alot of fun. We had a great week. It is always good to be reminded how much we have to be thankful for.

Julia ~ 2 months old

This week has been very eventful up here in Ohio this week. Julia is at a "Parents Day Out" today for 4 hours at a small Methodist Church not far from the house. I hope all goes well when I pick her up and if so she will start preschool there in January. She was VERY excited to start her new school this morning. My doctor's appt this week went great! I passed all my tests and got my flu shot. On to more exciting things......Wyatt is going to be attending his first Ohio State Football game on Saturday with a co-worker. It is the last home game and I think they will be tailgating and all that fun stuff. We are one step closer to losing him to the BIG 10.

Outside Fun

Halloween Fun

Last night Julia had soo much fun!! She went trick-or-treating and got lots of candy. Her "Autumn Witch" costume was a big hit around the neighborhood. She also loved looking at all the other kids in their outfits. Of coarse her favorite was a boy dressed as Spiderman that she is still talking about. She had a ball and went to bed early. I am sharing some pictures from the Halloween festivities around our house this week and some from Julia playing outside on her swing set this morning. Enjoy!!
