Baby Room

I have been requested to post baby room pics so here they are, hope you enjoy. Window treatments have been designed but will not be done until the baby is here. Elizabeth (my designer) will be making them and sending them up after the birth. Everything else is pretty much ready. I have been doing a little bit everyday just to make myself feel better in case anything happens early. Yesterday I got diapers and wipes at the store.

Julia has been enjoying her new preschool. She is constantly talking about a boy named Nolan that is in the older class. On the first day when I went to pick her up her teacher told me that she already liked a boy. Thank goodness she only sees him at recess otherwise she would be driving him nuts I am sure. We are trying to stay warm this week. It is VERY cold up here but we do have some snow on the ground so at least it is pretty. I have a Dr appt next week and by then we will be less then a month away from the due date.... I cannot believe how fast it has flown by. I have been feeling fine just tired, anxious, and BIG.
More news to come next week.....

Christmas in Memphis

Wyatt, Julia, and I spent Christmas in Memphis this year and it was very eventful. Julia and I flew into Nashville and Mimi and Pop surprised us with a trip to the Opryland Hotel to see it all done up for the holidays. It was a lot of fun!! After being in town about 48 hours Julia got an early Christmas present in the form of the stomach bug. Ughhh.... She then passed it to me, Elizabeth, Jeremy, Pop, and some other members of our extended family. Wyatt was lucky enough to fight it off by sleeping for 20 hours in one day (that is why he is absent in some of the pics). Everyone at our house was pretty much well by Christmas and we all had a wonderful time. We were able to see most of our friends before heading back up north to the freezing weather. We had a low key new years just trying to stay warm and watching the Bulldogs win the Liberty Bowl!! Now we just need LSU to pull out a win tomorrow night over OSU!!

Elizabeth is here now for her first visit to Columbus and we have been showing her the sights and doing some post Christmas shopping. We are now in full swing baby mode and can't wait to meet our new little one next month. Mimi, Grandmama, and Granddaddy have all made travel plans to be here to help out and I am soo glad. I will keep everyone updated on the baby news when I know more.
