Weekend Review

We have had a VERY busy and fun filled weekend. Our friends Mike and Liz came to visit with their precious daughter Ansley. She is almost 4 months and was so well behaved. She was a trooper with my girls all in her face and driving her crazy. The boys went to the Ohio State Penn State game on Saturday and Liz and I got our kicks shopping (with out the kids) on Friday. The boys had all three girls for most of the day. We also had a quick lunch visit with Wyatt's Aunt Neecie on Saturday. She stopped through for a short 24 hours with her job as a flight attendant. The girls and I (and Liz and Ansley) got to have lunch with her. Julia had fun jumping on her bed in the hotel room and putting together a puzzle that Neecie got for her. We have a VERY busy week ahead being that it is Halloween and all. Wyatt will be out of town all week (oh yeah say a prayer for me will ya?) and Julia has a costume parade at school on Thursday and Trick-or-Treating on Friday night. Sadly Wyatt will not be home until Saturday (he is bummed) so he will miss the festivities. I am going to try and document well so he can at least see some of it. Way to go G'mama on the gourd! It looks great and we love it. Grandmama made this for the girls for Halloween and drew the design on it with her wood burner. It looks awesome!

Look closely and you will see why this photo shoot ended with this pic. Ansley apparently squeezed/pinched Julia's chin/neck VERY hard. That lead to a 10 minute overly dramatic sob fest from Julia. I mean she acted like Ansley knocked her out with a baseball bat. It was something. So in order to console Jules, Mike offered to "spank" Ansley (you know since she is 4 months old and totally knows what she is doing) and Julia cried even more. I told him get ready the drama starts young with girls!
